The bellowing sounds from 6-piece ensemble Taking Stock fill the cavernous hollows of Monterey's Colton Hall. Composer Jackson Stock grew up in the area with music as an element in his life since birth. After a stint as a professor at Berklee College of Music in Boston (where Stock himself was once a student), the accomplished musician has spent time in New England, Las Vegas, Monterey and Los Angeles playing and writing with many well-known artists.
