The Underground Lounge boxes up the booze and opens the doors for an all ages gathering with some of the solidest hard-rockers in these here parts. Miseria (Prunedale), Counter-Clockwise (Monterey), and Hate for State (Salinas) open for local legends Pride Subject in a back-alley bash that knocks the socks off any innocent bystanders within a five-mile radius. If Saturday night involves a peaceful stroll down Cannery Row, be warned, wear an extra pair of stockings, and don't even think about busting out the Birkenstocks. [GT]
