His blue eyes blaze like an diamond in the sunlight, and his big, beautiful voice rings true to any ear. John Michael, vocalist for local Irish band Bog Iron, takes a solo turn at London Bridge, branching out from his usual repetoire of thrashing, vigorous Celtic rock to mellower ballads inspired by Sinatra, opera, and Seal. But his native land is never far behind, and he still pulls out Bog Iron hits where his Emerald Isle accent laces the roving lyrics. Everyone might be feeling a little Irish after his set. [MF]
