Family Fun Day: "World of Fishes" at Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History

Scientists of all ages are encouraged to participate in this event. Young students are invited to create gyotaku fish prints, paint wiggly wooden fish, "fish" for prizes, and listen to Nancy Raven weave a tale. For the older minds, experts in ichthyology and underwater photography are on hand to answer questions and opportunities to analyze fish scales and ear bones abound. If one is feeling ready to flop, Vivolo's Chowder House will be there with lunch time fare.
11am-3pm . Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, 165 Forest Ave., Pacific Grove. Free; Donations Appreciated. 648-5716. http://www.pgmuseum.org.
