The Monterey Audubon Society hosts a two-day intensive Monterey County bird count. You can go on a solo hike or join up with a team expedition. After the counting is done, the total is tallied at the Count-down Dinner at the Wild Bird Center of Monterey. The goal is to find more species and weirder species than last year.
