When the Levees Broke at Unitarian Universalist Church

Spike Lee's monumental documentary, When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts, delves as deeply into the 2005 Hurricane Katrina tragedy as anything in any medium has--or can. This screening shows the first two "acts" of the four-part film (and that's about as much as one can stand in one sitting), followed by a discussion that, because of the oil tragedy in the Gulf, is timely.
6:15pm. Unitarian Universalist Church, 490 Aguajito Road, Carmel. Free. 659-1115, 624-7404.
