Piano is the one instrument that no matter who passes it, they cannot resist playing-even if its just a note or two. There is a lure and intimidation to the piano, there is not many people who wouldn't love to master it. That is why we all sit in awe of pianists. The 34th Annual Piano Competition at Sunset Center will showcase eight finalists as they compete for $11,000 in prizes. Auditions will take place 10am-12pm and 1:30-3:30pm. Then later in the evening all in attendance will be treated with a concert performed by the three winners preceding a reception. All are welcome to attend for free but for just this one night try not to touch the keys. [LC] (See Music story.)
