Two members claim proficiency with an instrument they're calling an egg shaker, and the drummer has apparently mastered "awesomeness." These clean-cut lads and lady can kick up some heat, like on "Bits of Sins," a reggae-rhythm kinda-rockabilly song. But they do the quiet-loud dynamic thing on "What the Use" that mixes Rufus Wainwright, Pavement and John Mayer--is that a good thing? I don't know. Local duo White Dogs bring their whiskey-soaked tunes to Jose's for the first time.
