Ravel's Bolero - with its marching repetition and gradual crescendo - brings an aura of anticipation to the symphony's show. Much like the music, this season has a grand finale that ends with exuberance and energy. Other works include Rodrigo's Per la flor lliri blau, Turina's Sinfonia sevillana and Ravel's Concerto for the Left Hand in D Major. Guest musician Gary Graffman is sure to strikes chords with his audience - using his left hand only. One hour prior to each performance is a free pre-concert lecture.
