Corporate greed and destruction of our planet - not the happiest of topics, but the film, Yes Men Fix the World, selected for the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, uses wit, humor and creativity to make it all a little easier to take. The Yes Men are two political activists posing as top executives of giant corporations who lie their way into big business conferences and pull off outrageous pranks. From New Orleans to India to New York City, armed with little more than cheap thrift-store suits, the Yes Men give comedy to one of the most significant environmental hurdles of our time. This week's showing is part of the Monterey Green Action Fourth Thursday Film Café film series hosted by the East Village Coffee Lounge.
