Iago's fingers coax sweet jazz out of piano keys as effortlessly as a spring breeze ruffles grass. And somehow he still manages to produce the dramatic moments of dissonance and the tense syncopation that make good jazz compelling. Accompanying him for this show are Hyatt regulars the David Morwood Band, a good-sized old-school jazz ensemble featuring sax, bass, drums, guitar and accordion, among other instruments. The next day, join both Iago and the David Morwood Band for the Hyatt's last-Sunday jazz jam, from 2-6pm, with special guest Lee Durley gracing the mic on a couple songs like "Someone to Watch Over Me" and "Girl From Ipanema."
