The acoustic duo Ball-Point Birds consists Mother Hips frontmen Tim Bluhm and Greg Loiacono. The side project, which began a few years back, goes in a much different direction than the music of the Hips; it’s simpler and more sensitive. In fact, Loiacono described BPB’s debut album The Green Hills of Earth as being very kid-friendly—something that can be appreciated and even understood by folks under the age of 10.
