40 years after being eligible to join AARP, Gerald Wasserman keeps perfecting his craft. For his 90th Birthday, he created his most recent works. The Carmel Art Association kicks it off at an opening reception for their Nov 4-30 exhibits. These also include Heidi Hybl's, "Celebrating Darwin: How a Population of Abstract Forms Diversified Over Time." Hybl paints in oil, on paper or stretched canvas and makes prints of leaves and palm fronds. Their Gallery Showcase also features the works of Miguel Domingues, Peggy Jelmini and Melissa Lofton. [DS]
