Lucha Libre 2010 at Sherwood Hall

Professional wrestling comes to Steinbeck Center's Sherwood Hall in Salinas. Lucha Libre is Mexico's own brand of high flying pro wrestling that features freakishly athletic men flying through the air to fight one another in colorful costumes, masks, and capes. In Mexico the only form of entertainment with greater attendance is soccer. Salinas raised wrestler "Quantum" will make his hometown debut in front of friends and family and will be available for fans to take pictures and sign autographs. In all, 15 wrestlers will be on hand to entertain the crowd throughout the night with their daring moves and acrobatics. General admission starts at $20 and a ringside ticket will run $50; children 12 and under accompanied by an adult are 1/2 off. [GS]
