For the first show in the Acoustic/Electric Series, there was just a guy, his guitar and the audience, but East Village was packed to capacity. This time around, the 10-piece Oakland act Sun Hop Fat will have to squeeze themselves into the coffee house for both an acoustic and electric performance. Their "Netsanet" is a percolating, almost eight minute long instrumental with horns and a killer fuzzed-out guitar solo that buzzes in the listener's head like a potent hit of THC. [ST]
