Lou Leonard, from Italy, was turned onto the blues by Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Live Alive." From there the started buying and absorbing (and learning from) albums by greats like B.B. King, Albert Collins and Albert King, and contemporaries like Robben Ford, Bonnie Raitt and Jonny Lang. He grew prolific enough to play Italian circuits like the Torrita Blues Festival, Rocce Rosse in Sardinia with formidable Italian musicians like Popa Chubby, Sugar Ray Norcia and Volker Strifler, who also performs as a special guest at this American blues show via Italia.
