Typical cures for ailments include pills, injections and therapy sessions, but these treatments help only the body and mind. This exhibit helps the public see how art can be used to heal the heart and soul. Local professional artists share their works and their insights on the healing powers of art. A community of people dealing with aging, illness, loss and grief discusses how artwork is helping to rehabilitate and rejuvenate them. Runs Sept. 29-Oct. 28. Reception Oct .8, 7-8pm. [DC]
