The Lark Chamber Artists, once a quartet of four women, two violins, a viola and a cello, are now redefining themselves and changing with the times as they build on their traditional ensemble with a little pop
and world music. They’ve also added new instruments. Depending on the show, audiences may get percussion, baritone or clarinet. This show entitled: Folk Fusion: From America to the Middle East” incorporates music by Peraaskero, Ruehr, Sollima, Dvorak, Wiprud, Velez and Gershwin. These musicians make the notes pop off the page and engage audiences with their talent and precision. [JU]
