This free series of Tuesday classes guides would-be writers along the various paths of getting published. It takes the form of a dialogue between a host and a guest from the literary world, followed by audience questions, a reception and booksigning. The first one enlisted Patrice Vecchione to engage with author Elin Kelsey. Local prolific author--three travel memoirs, nine children's books, one adult nonfiction and hundreds of articles--Brad Herzog sits in the chair Oct. 12; Jan Johnson of San Francisco's Red Wheel Books and Conari Press arrives Oct. 19; and Patricia Hamilton of self-publishing company Park Place Publications comes Oct. 26.
