Back in 2006, Shailja Patel debuted a one woman show in the Bay Area titled Migritude: When Saris Speak about migration and personal history. Since then, Patel has been featured on an episode of KQED's arts show Spark and has released Migritude as a book. Tonight, enjoy a public reception with the author along with a discussion of Migritude followed by a Q&A and book signing. [ST]
