Located by the ocean, what's hitting Dolores Street is nothing but the big wave of art. Four galleries feature over 185 local artists with various styles. The community's oldest gallery Carmel Art Association opens a new still life exhibit including Pamela Carroll, Stan Robbins, Tim Sloan and Richard Tette. Patty Biederman demonstrates an impressionism painting at Gallery North. Galerie Plein Aire's pick is Jeff Daniel for a demonstrator, another impressionism painter with bold brush work. Steven Whyte Sculpture Studio Galley's highlight is a live sculpting - and don't forget to see Wellington, his famous British Bulldog.
