The three Salinas libraries enact a series of programs that, they say, "explore the concept of play" with toys, puzzles, games and more for kids 3-7. Jurassic Day: A Day with Dinosaurs stomps into John Steinbeck Library (350 Lincoln Ave., 758-7311) on Sept. 15 and El Gabilan (1400 N. Main St., 758-7302) on Sept. 28. Leaps of Logic: Games to Challenge Your Noodle stimulates little craniums on Sept. 14 at El Gabilan, Sept. 28 at Cesar Chavez (615 Williams Road) and Sept. 29 at John Steinbeck. Oceans of Fun: Sea Toys and Animals swims into Cesar Chavez on Sept. 14.
