This special benefit concert, billed as “Special Friends,” features renowned gospel singer-songwriter Phil Keaggy. Not only has the Ohio native released more than 50 albums over his four-decade career, Keaggy was also voted one of the world’s top three fingerpicking guitarists by Guitar Player Magazine’s readers’ poll. He was also twice nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Gospel Album. Other musical guests include Random Status, Doc Mompean, Atomik Tommy and Tracy Luccketta. Proceeds from the show will go to a 26-year-old that recently underwent a double lung transplant. [AJ]
