Back by popular demand, this presentation of Corridos!!! Tales of the Mexican Revolution is a further exploration of El Teatro Campesino’s unique form of musical theater. Corridos were a popular form of civic journalism that told of actual events and personalities before the days of radio and television. Nowadays corridos are often considered to be mini-operas featuring musical, humorous and dramatic storytelling. [DC]
