As part of the fourth annual Monterey Bay Film Festival, the 2010 Mexican film, Revolución, will be presented by one of the movie’s 10 directors, Rodrigo Garcia, son of Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez, who will speak at the Friday screening at Lighthouse Cinema. Notable directors involved include Fernando Eimbcke (Duck Season), Gael García Bernal (actor from Y Tu Mamá También) and Carlos Reygadas (Silent Light). Garcia’s segment, “7th and Alvarado,” closes the 100-minute feature. The 52-year-old filmmaker is known for his work directing several episodes of HBO’s “Six Feet Under.” Saturday, film shorts by local and international youth will be screened at CSUMB's World Theatre.
