Sholem Aleichem's tale of Tevye the Milkman, is brought to stage by our local youth in a poignant musical. Set in 1905 Russia in a Jewish community, a family struggles to maintain religious tradition while outside influences trespass upon the village. Tevye, seeking husbands for his three daughters, calls upon Yente, a matchmaker who does her best. The girls dream of love as their father dreams of an easier life, which makes Yente's job very difficult. The plot thickens when the tsar issues an eviction of all Jews from their village. The show stars Anthony Tringali, as Tevye, Clara Navaille, as Tzeitel, Maria Herbst, as Hodel, Sierra Valdez, as Motel, and Sarah Haugh as Mother.
