Over 600 species and varieties of wildflowers will fill the Special Exhibit Hall at the Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History for the 50th annual Wildflower Show. Miles of Monterey County are scoured for the season's fully blossomed beauties--everything from sunny California poppies to violet sky lupine-- and put on display through the weekend. The show will include lectures, workshops and interactive demonstrations on all things plants from local specialists. Linda Yamane will host basket-weaving classes, artist and naturalist John Muir Laws will provide wildflower sketch classes, and Rebecca Burgess will offer classes on how to dye with native plants.
