The City of Monterey and the Monterey Conference Center are pleased to announce the current Alvarado Gallery exhibit: "Visual Conversations with Women in the Arts IV". The exhibit pairs Ann Theirmann's seventeen portraits of local outstanding female artists at work with individual 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional visual examples. The show includes pieces from Lynda Watson, Jody Alexander, Martha Casanave, Ann Dizikes, Susan Else, Jane Gregorius and Robynn Smith, among others. Viewers can obtain a unique insight into the diversity of tools, media, and scale of local work, and an intimate view of each woman's hands at work, at the loom, keyboard, or easel.
