It is often said that those that can't create, teach. The full- and part-time art staff at MPC put this falsehood safely to rest, pooling their creative talents for an inspiring display of three-dimensional works that span sculpture, assemblage, jewelry, ceramics and mixed media. All of the participants are working artists that have been with MPC since at least 2007, and apart from developing the skills and vision of their students, have shown their works in galleries across the country, and world. To see such abundance of local talent under one roof, and to hear the artist's themselves discuss their work, is a rarefied opportunity that should not be missed by art lovers, and suggests that the very best shows in 3-D are the ones that do not require glasses.
