New Zealand transplant Jackie Bristow, has been writing music for pretty much her entire life. When she moved to Australia in 1994, industry folks began to take notice of her sweet voice that at times, yields a country twang similar to the American roots singer-songwriters. Bristow's most recent release Freedom is the perfect title of an album that encompasses the kiwi's natural tendency to write music that has no boundaries. Opening act and friend Jackie Daum will open and sit in on a couple tunes with Bristow. [AJ]
