Keigan Skydecker's Acoustic/Electric Series has emerged as one of Monterey's music gems. After a superb show by Howlin Rain last month, Battlehooch, who just headlined San Francisco's The Independent, return for another unplugged then fully electric performance here in Monterey. Last January, they utilized a plastic bucket and an accordion on the acoustic portion of the evening in East Village. Meanwhile, no can deny the power of their chaotic plugged-in concerts. [ST]
