Rifftrax Live: Jack the Giant Killer at Century Cinemas

There's not enough Rifftrax productions. Not for my taste. But it makes each new show of live riffing off a bad movie, by the Peabody Award-winning jokers of Mystery Science Theater 3000, so much more special and giddy. They've roasted, with devastating wit and whimsy, Plan 9 Fro Outer Space and Reefer Madness; the film victim they resurrect this time is Jack the Giant Killer, a 1962 stinker that stars, as a main character, a "dog that's actually a Viking" and an "evil sorcerer with an awesome beard." This is some of the funniest stuff you'll see in a movie theater, done live from Nashville, but the tear-inducing laughs get beamed to more than 500 movie theaters across the country. We're lucky to be one of them. [WR]
