On Saturdays and Sunday from July 2 to September 4, the Monterey Jazz Festival and the Aquarium present a series of live jazz performances by professional musicians and students from the Monterey Peninsula. The participants have exhibited talent on saxophone, trumpet, piano, bass, drums, and flute. They appear as follows: July 2, Roger Eddy; July 3, Gary Meek with Eddie Mendenhall, Dan Robbins, and Kim Edmundson; July 9, Roger Eddy; July 10, Kenny Stahl; July 16, Pete Lips; July 17, Bill Spencer; July 23, Stu Reynolds; July 24, Kenny Stahl; July 30, Pete Lips; July 31, Gary Meek with Eddie Mendenhall, Dan Robbins, and Kim Edmundson; Aug. 6, Stu Reynolds; Aug. 7, Bill Spencer; Aug. 13, Roger Eddy; Aug. 14, Kenny Stahl; Aug. 20, Stu Reynolds, Gary Meek with Eddie Mendenhall, Dan Robbins, and Kim Edmundson; Aug. 27, Pete Lips; Aug. 28, Bill Spencer; Sept. 3, Monterey Jazz Festival student musicians; and Sept. 4, Monterey Bay Jazz Orchestra. Admission to concerts is included with Aquarium admission.
