Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead at Western Stage Studio Theater

Your enjoyment of this satirical play may hinge on your level of adoration for Charles Schultz's Peanuts, as well as your tolerance for heretofore innocent stories deconstructed into dark, modern form. Bert V. Royal's Dog Sees God revises the Peanuts gang into a medley of neurotic, damaged and alternative lifestyled characters, including episodes of anger, sex-addiction, jealousy, angst and violence. But it's apparently funny, too, so it looks primed to take you on a trip that's familiar and different at the same time. [WR]
