Wake the Dead at Chautauqua Hall

Who says the music of the Grateful Dead wouldn't work if it was reinvented as traditional Celtic music? Wake of the Dead have been doing it for 11 years, released three albums and consistently attract both Celtic and Dead fans to enjoy their melding of the two sounds. The six-piece outfit would make Jerry smile with their tasty renditions of "Ripple," "Playing in the Band" and the seminal summer tune, "Uncle John’s Band." [AJ]
