Dinner party mayhem has never been this funny, until nimble playwright Neil Simon took the gossipy tendencies of politicians, attorneys and New York City power players into his expert hands. With servants gone missing, an accidental gunshot (blame the Valium) and a state senate campaign brewing, the attempts these dignitaries make to keep their chaotic gathering hidden from the media make for farce at its cleverest.
