We've heard of helicopter parents, but a helicopter Santa? Only in Carmel Valley. Old Saint Nice touches down at Carmel Valley Airfield today, accompanied by Mrs. Claus and joined in a parade by a host of horses and old-fashioned automobiles which will make their way through the Valley Village to the Community Youth Center. Kids can get their photos taken with the Clauses and do holiday crafts at the nearby park, and everyone can marvel at Kris Kringle's high-tech capabilities. [RR]
