This locally-sourced public access television (and online streaming) show could be one of the highest profile regularly occurring reminders of the wonders of the Monterey Bay. It's a collaboration between Access Monterey Peninsula (AMP) and the NOAA Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, and will focus on how people, organizations and businesses rely on and derive sustenance from our ocean, hosted by Sanctuary superintendent Paul Michel, dotted with guests like scientists and business folks, over the course of a planned 52 episodes. That's a lot of devotion to our rich chunk of the ocean. And each episode (the pilot launches Oct. 31) will air about four times a week, and is available through AMP's website at ampmedia.org. Stay tuned.
7pm Mon; 8pm Tue; 9pm Wed; 6pm Sun. AMP Public Television, Comcast channel 27, AT&T channel 99, Monterey Peninsula. www.ampmedia.org.
