Including images from local residents collected by the Public Library, Shade of Monterey exhibits the rich culture of Monterey at work, play and celebration. On display at the Alvarado Gallery in the Monterey Conference Center, the exhibit establish in 1999 has collected photos and historical stories of local families. The exhibit runs until April 4, 2011, Mon-Fri 8m-4:30pm.
