Terra Entwined at the Art Gallery at MPC, features two talented and accomplished artists. Betty Vera brings her tapestries and weavings from New York, while Mark Lightfoot from Oakland puts up his abstract paintings. Both artists complement each other visually, with bold color choices and intuitive linear movement. The gallery has an artist's reception on Thursday the 10th starting at 2pm, and will have the show up until March 4th. Saturday February 12th, Vera will provide a talk for those in attendance at 2pm. The event is free and the gallery stays open during normal hours between Tuesday-Friday from 11a-4p. [GS]
