Smuin Ballet Presents "Oh, Inverted World"

The Bay Area's Smuin Ballet presents an electric performance of "Oh, Inverted World" to the songs of indie rock gods, The Shins. choreographed by Trey McIntyre, the program is described as striking and remarkable. Established in 1994, Smuin Ballet has quickly taken flight as one of the nation's most original and exciting dance troupes of the era. Recognized for its accessible and innovative repertory, the company adheres to the philosophy that ballet should be a living dance form that can continue to engage and delight modern audiences. The program will also include and riotous piece called "Bluegrass/ Slyde" by Michael Smuin, as well as a classic ballet entitled, "Brahms-Haydn Variations".
