With hit shows like Dancing With the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance? on rotation on TV, local crews like the Infamous Night Rockers competing nationally )(not to mention strong classical and contemporary one-offs like Forever Tango, which is in town), the dancing force is strong in Monterey County. This five-day swing dancing competition, workshop, showcase and all-around fun dance party only adds to that healthy step. National and world champions fly in to town for the affair, presented by Central Coast Swing Dance (who will put on open dance nights), and turn out the Hyatt like some rockabilly jukejoint of the first order.
