The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History and the Monterey Audubon Society are hosting their annual meeting discussing current efforts to protect the snowy plover bird, a threatened small shorebird found from Washington state to Baja. The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service will lead the meeting that is attended by many experts from several agencies and organizations from across the West Coast. There is limited space for the general public to attend and seating will be on a first-come first-serve basis.
