The Art of California, 1880 to the Present at Monterey Museum of Art-Pacific

The museum cleans house of the deep line-up of historical and contemporary art that's been showing on its spacious walls to make room for a whole new sweep of works. They include an exhibitions The Art of California, 1880 to the Present, consisting of seminal California impressionists, photographers and printmakers of the region including William Ritschel; and two exhibitions under the aegis of Adams & Weston and the Masters of California Photography, split into two shows including color and black and white photography, paintings, works on paper and bronze sculptures, headlined by Edward Weston and Ansel Adams.
