"Once Upon A Mattress" at the Outdoor Forest Theater

The age-old tale of "The Princess and the Pea" gets a tongue-in-cheek retelling in this royally funny musical. Set long ago in days of old, "Once Upon A Mattress" follows Prince Dauntless (played by Daniel Joseph Renfer) in his quest to find a bride. Dozens of winsome women vie for his affections, but all are deemed unworthy by his overbearing mother, Queen Aggravian (Jennifer Newman). The Queen declares that nobody may marry until her dear Dauntless does, so the amorous Sir Harry (Keith Wolharf), his heart set on wedding Lady Larken (Michelle Boulware), sets off to find his friend a bride. Shenanigans ensue - in song, of course.
