Teen Writing Group at Monterey Public Library

Monterey Public Library is offering a 2-hour writing session to help youth fine-tune their skills and develop their own creative voice. Teens in grades 6-12, taught by former teen writing group leader Deanna Lynn, can sharpen their pencils and their minds with the inspiration of other authors. Free journals are given to the first 10 students.

2-4pm. Monterey Public Library, 625 Pacific St, Monterey. Free. 646-3933, www.monterey.org/library.
