AIFW’s Monterey Bay Chapter hosts a dinner and a movie event, showing the romantic comedy No Reservations. Board members lay out an ample gourmet buffet of California and French dishes, to be washed down by wines from the Chateau Julien Wine Estate. In the movie, controlling head chef Kate Armstrong (Catherine Zeta-Jones, Chicago) and brash up-and-comer Nick Palmer (Aaron Eckhart, The Dark Knight) find conflict and chemistry. Dinner is served first, and the film begins at sunset. As it gets cold under the stars, all attending should remember blankets, pillows, and layers.
