Having toured with The Avett Brothers and The Low Anthem, Pennsylvania native Langhorne Slim adds modern elements to the classic American brew of folk, country and blues. His "She's Gone" is a rollicking acoustic track with barroom piano and yelled vocals that recalls The Avett Brothers, while "Colette" is a bittersweet ballad with lines including: "All I wanted was a good song and a fair friend." A listen to Slim's music reveals he has plenty of the former. [ST]
