Feast of Lanterns Festivities at Pacific Grove

The festivities commence with the official opening ceremony and presentation of the Royal Court, at Elmarie Dyke Open Space (July 27, 1-3pm). The “Feast of Flavors,” a buffet-style meal provided by several local restaurants, takes place in Chautauqua Hall for $10 (July 28, 11am-1pm ). Wagging tails and animal costumes make up Friday’s Pet Parade, where pets and owners begin at Caledonia Park and march down Lighthouse (July 29, 2:30pm). Later that day, the Royal Court returns to Chautauqua Hall for a Dance Party, where the public can learn all types of cultural dances (July 29, 6pm).
