At the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition Finals in his hometown of Oakland, comedian Kirk McHeny talked bout the diligence of the police in Pleasanton, where the semis that took place in Pleasanton. "I'm from Oakland I like East Oakland cops…The kind of cop that pulls up on me like, 'Hey, you got weed in that car?' 'No.' 'You want some?'" Or how taking a shower with his young lady isn't as sexy as she thinks: "It's sexy for her 'cuz she's standing under that hot-ass water with the steam coming off her shoulders and you're standing in the back, shivering like a cold slave…'You think I can get a little bit of that water, please, please please?'" He's got quickness and timing like a mug. He barely gives you a chance to recover from one deft joke before he's in on the next one. Skinny comedian Suli McCullough, hype man on Lopez Tonight, former Tonight Show writer, and comedy film character, opens the can of whoop-laughs. [WR]
